Ichabod Oldbuck Press is a St. Louis based independent comic book publishing company. We say comic books, because we long for the unpretentious pre-graphic novel days. Our roots are buried deep in early Disney films, Pogo strips, Johnny Quest and the golden age of comics. 

Ichabod is focused on creating original, compelling, wonder-filled myths that rest nicely on the shelf beside the works of Jack Kirby, Bill Finger, Will Eisner and Wally Wood. Founded by writer/artist Steve John, Ichabod is committed to fun and loud sequential storytelling done in the style of the greats. And while he thinks that each issue is a work of art, he’s completely fine if you fold the issue and stick it in your back pocket, or spill your latte on its glorious pages.
